FAQ

Doughnut Face

You can ask me anything. I don't bite (unless you taste like cake)

How many tattoos do you have?

You can read about my very first tattoos on my guest 'Tattoo Tuesday' post, over on Danielle's blog Sometimes Sweet. I've also had both arms, hands, thighs, knees, sides, and calves done since the interview. Pictures under the tattoo tag on the main page, or check out my full tattoo tour post.

What do you use to blog?

I blog from my macbook, and use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to edit my photographs.

What sort of camera do you have?

I use a Canon 1100D along with Tamron 18-200mm Lens to shoot all day to day photographs. I also have a Canon 50mm lens which is amazing for doing portraits and products especially. I have a handful of manual and lomo cameras too, including fisheye, holga, diana+, polaroid, and zumi. Which may make an appearance on my blog from time to time.

Where did you get your blog layout from?

I bought it from Minty Fox Designs via Etsy.

What did you do at uni?

I graduated in June 2010 from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. I graduated with a BA in Technical and Production Arts. I specialised in Applied Arts, which included Scenic Painting, Costume, Prop Making and Set Construction. You can view my cv/portfolio here.

Where do you work?

While I was a student, and since graduating, I have worked freelance in the art department for a range of production companies across the theatre, film and tv industry in Scotland. I was self employed for 3 years and I'm now my very own LTD Company.

I'm visiting Glasgow, what should I see/do?

Email me! I have some favourite places in Glasgow where I love to to eat, drink, shop and visit. I'd love to share them with you, and hopefully help make your trip one to remember. I have shared my suggestions with quite a few thankful visitors in the past, so I can't be all that bad a tour guide :)

I'm going backpacking around Europe, can you give me any advice/tips?

Again, email me so I can give you specific advice best suited to you. I did a 4 week inter-rail trip around Europe, taking in Brussels, Bruges, Berlin, Prague, Vienna , Budapest, Zagreb, Split, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Munich, Interlaken, Bern and Paris. If you want any suggestions of where to stay, advice about inter-railing in general, or things to do (and avoid) in these places then I'm your gal. You can read my travel related posts here, here, here and here.
