Brand New Colony

Low and behold my tickets and diana mini for a weekend trip to Brighton :) Me and Katrina get the train to London at 6.30am tomorrow morning. Ha, it's 20 past midnight just now as I'm typing this which is seriously depressing but the guinea pig sheets are taking an age to dry and I need them all cleaned out before I go away :( So looks like it's gonna be a 3 or 4 hour sleep for me tonight, but shall snooze on the train as I've got my comfy (note, skanky) clothes for the journey.

Why is it that you always run out of your staple makeup items all at the one time? I really couldn't hang on until christmas for these goodies... so today after work I took a trip into town and got a few bits and bobs I've been desperately needing (literally been scraping the barrel before that, its AMAZING how much you can get out of a tube when you cut the bloody thing right open!)

I also took advantage of the paperchase 3 for 2 and got myself christmas cards, wrapping paper and lots of bows and ribbons :) Uhh, now I just need some actual presents to wrap... Brighton I hope your shops are mighty fine! Hope to get some nice pressies while I'm down there. Taking my cards to write on the train, so that should kill some time. Unless I sleep the whole journey, which at the rate tonight is going I can see that happening!

Little rolly case, all packed up and ready to go. Have also got my Cath Kidston bag and handbag too, aaand a bag of food (even though we'll be in Brighton for 1pm and shouldn't even need mega munchies for the journey!) I can't help but being a bag lady in situations like this, and even amongst that I know I'll have forgotten something. Such is life!

Thank you for all your suggestions and emails of where to go in Brighton, we're hoping to cram in as much as possible, and getting to meet the lovely Sophie and Lauren on sunday morning :) Girls, I hope you know somewhere that does good hangover coffee and cake and other yummy breakfast stuff :p It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind weekend but I can't wait. 7 and 6 day weeks in work merit playing hard too, right? December already - I feel like I'm actually struggling to keep up with 2011. Have a great one whatever you've got planned ♥

  4. Hope you have a great time in Brighton and the journey isn't/wasn't too horrific! Skanky travel clothes are the best, I channel chavvies for long journeys and end up looking like a yob in trackies and a hoodie.

This might sound a bit off but do you use that gal as a primer or does it work as a brightener for you? It just feels sticky and makes my face look red whenever I use it : /

  17. So jealous of your makeup restock! I love the clean start matte moisturiser so much but always end up rationalising and spending less on a worse one :/ Always been tempted to try That Gal and the POREfessional as well, I'm assuming they're good?
Hope you have fun in Brighton!
