Home truths

Oh, the funny and fake things we find on the internet. Can you believe the world wide web has only been alive since around 1996? Ask your mum/dad/grandparents about how they coped before then. I'll think you'll find that they got along just fine... but to most it is an invaluable resource. Our generation is certainly one that relies on gadgets, instant everything, flawless and easy to use forms of communication, social networking and, if ever in doubt, being able to 'google it'. What next eh? Everything has to be harder, better, and faster than what came before it. Thats why life goes by so quickly these days, no one lives in the moment anymore. Were all too busy focusing on where we want to be and the quickest/easiest way to get there. One wee quote that I will never forget, is 'happiness is the journey, not the destination'... Think about it.
